TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Most Texans love their Whataburger restaurants. Even A-list celebs dish about it. Recently, Selena Gomez even chatted about it to 103.7 KVIL in Dallas.
But San Antonio photographer, Carolyn Y Finger has a couple of clients who take their affinity for the Texas-based chain to another level.
They asked Finger to photograph their son Carter resting belly-side down on a Whataburger tray with a styrofoam cup, ketchup packets and a paper bag behind his little head.
"They asked if we can do it because she and her husband just love Whataburger," said Finger.
The couple had a friend who worked at the restaurant, which let them borrow the orange and white props, according to Finger. Then, after a quick, loose wrap with some yellow wax paper, baby Carter was ready for his closeup.
"Baby Carter was an awesome baby to work with and with the set up I wanted the photo to look more rustic since we live in Texas," said Finger.
Hence, Whatababy was born.
