Traffic Alert: West Bound Lanes Of Sam Rayburn Tollway Closed

LEWISVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) - The westbound lanes on the Sam Rayburn Tollway are closed.

Tonight is the first night of a full closure of the tollway.

The closures starting at I-35E all the way up to Lake Vista Drive from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. will last through October 7.

Workers will be building new ramps in the interchange. Motorists driving at night should travel west on tollways frontage road, highway 121, and re-enter south-west bound to continue on their journey.

The tollway should be open on time for the morning commute, according to TxDOT.
