Owner Of Gloria's Sues Over Bean Dip
The famous black bean dip served at Gloria's restaurants in North Texas is at the center of a lawsuit filed against the owner of a new restaurant in Dallas. Gloria Rubio and Jose Fuentes claim that their famous dip and the recipe for their margarita's were swiped by a former manager. After leaving Gloria's last year, Mario Alfaro and a partner opened up their own restaurant. That's when Rubio and Fuentes claim he began serving identical items. A pre-trial hearing will be held Monday to determine whether the case can move forward. An attorney for Alfaro calls the lawsuit ridiculous.
