10:36 p.m:

Childish Gambino wins the Grammy for record of the year for "This Is America."

10:18 p.m:

Singer Dua Lipa wins best new artist.

10:05 p.m:

Artist Cardi B wins the Grammy for best rap album for "Invasion of Privacy."

9:53 p.m:

Singer Brandi Carlile, who's already won three Grammys on Sunday, performs her hit song "The Joke."

9:43 p.m:

H.E.R. wins best R&B album for "H.E.R." She won best R&B performance for "Best Part" before the start of the show.

9:40 p.m:

The Grammys give a tribute to Motown music with Jennifer Lopez and the legendary Smokey Robinson.

9:30 p.m:

Rapper Travis Scott performs and also crowd surfs at the Grammys.

9:15 p.m:

Lady Gaga performs "Shallow" from the hit movie "A Star is Born." Co-star Bradley Cooper was not in attendance at the Grammys. Earlier in the show, Lady Gaga and Cooper won the Grammy for best pop duo/group performance for the song.

9:06 p.m:

Musical legend Diana Ross performs at the Grammys as the Recording Academy honors her career and legacy. She is also celebrating her 75th birthday this year.

8:52 p.m:

Musical artist Drake wins best rap song for "God's Plan."

8:33 p.m:

Kacey Musgraves of Mineola, Texas wins the Grammy for best country album for "Golden Hour."

8:30 p.m:

Cardi B performs at the Grammys.

8:20 p.m:

Artist H.E.R. performs her hit song "Hard Place." She won a Grammy earlier Sunday for best R&B performance for her song "Best Part."

8:03 p.m:

Iconic singer Dolly Parton is honored at the Grammy awards with performances by Kacey Musgraves, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Maren Morris and Little Big Town.

7:52 p.m:

Post Malone of Grapevine, Texas performs with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

7:45 p.m:

Childish Gambino wins Grammy for song of the year for "This is America."

7:33 p.m:

Artist Janelle Monae performs her hit song "Make Me Feel." Her album "Dirty Computer" is nominated for album of the year.

7:28 p.m:

Kacey Musgraves of Mineola, Texas performs "Rainbow" from her Grammy-nominated album "Golden Hour." Her album is up for Album of the Year.

7:20 p.m:

First award of the night goes to Lady Gaga for best pop duo/group performance for the song "Shallow" from the hit movie "A Star is Born." She performed this song with actor Bradley Cooper.

7:17 p.m:

Grammy nominee Shawn Mendes performs along with Miley Cyrus.

7:12 p.m:

Grammys host Alicia Keys opens the show by introducing singers Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez, actress Jada Pinkett Smith and former first lady Michelle Obama.

7:06 p.m:

Camila Cabello kicks off the Grammy Awards along with Ricky Martin and Young Thug.

6:55 p.m:

The Recording Academy handed out early awards before the start of the show. For the list of winners, click here. Artists Leon Bridges, Kacey Musgraves and St. Vincent, who have roots in North Texas, took home early awards.
