Houston Mother Delivers 10 Lb Baby In Car

HOUSTON (CBSDFW.COM) - A Houston baby couldn't wait to come into the world and made his debut while riding on the highway.

YouTube user i8thacookies posted the four minute video that starts showing the mother in intense labor while riding down Beltway 8 in Houston on the way to a birth center. The couple has been driving 45 minutes at the time the video begins.

She says, "I'm scared I'm going to have it right here," at the beginning of the video -- and that's exactly what she does.

The 10 pound baby boy is born right there in the passenger seat of the couple's vehicle.
