Folks come from all over the country to run in the annual Fort Worth YMCA Turkey Trot.   This is the 35th Annual running and the weather looks to be perfect.

"The Turkey Trot benefits the Westside YMCA and it helps them put on programs for all of the kids and families." said Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price.

Mayor Price will be running in her 33rd Turkey Trot.  She has only missed two over the years because it's so much fun and great for Fort Worth.

"It's an incredible traditional way to start your Thanksgiving.  I always love it because you burn extra calories, but more than that you get to see people.  I see people at Turkey Trot that have been seeing for thirty three years, that I don't see the rest of the year" Mayor Price added.

Registration is online or in person starting at 6 am tomorrow before the race.  JD Ryan is getting ready to run with Mayor Betsy Price in the 35th Annual Fort Worth YMCA Turkey Trot...Around Town!
