The Fort Worth Turkey Trot is kicking off its 34th year on Thursday. J.D. Ryan is Around Town with one Fort Worth family that spans the entire age range of participants.

This year's 34th Annual Fort Worth Turkey Trot again benefits the scholarship and youth programs of the Westside YMCA. Again, folks will come from all over to run or walk the 1k, 5k or 10k race courses. And again, the Hentz family of Fort Worth will be in full attendance.

They will have a total of 11 family members walking the 5K course. The youngest member of the Hentz family is 1 year old and will be in a stroller. The oldest is Anna Hentz at the tender young age of 93.

I had to know about her training routine. "I walk always about a mile and a half in the morning, then I go up to get breakfast," said Anna Hentz.

The 34th Annual Fort Worth Turkey Trot kicks off Thanksgiving morning at 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Camp Bowie Boulevard and Westridge Avenue.
