Congresswoman Eddie Bernice was on KRLD this morning responding to allegations of nepotism in doling out scholarships from the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.
Congresswoman Johnson says she accepts full responsibility and although she was Chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus, she was unclear about the rules of the foundation's scholarship program.
Johnson returned about 30 thousand dollars of her own money to the foundation today. She also blames a fired disgruntled employee for turning over the scholarship information to the Dallas Morning News.
