1 Dead In North Texas House Fire

ITALY, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - One person was killed in a house fire in the Ellis County town of Italy Wednesday morning.

Police Chief Scott Peters said it happened at 108 Couch Street around 9:30 a.m.

There's no word on what caused it.

A view from Chopper 11 showed the house was destroyed by the flames.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
