Cowboys QB Tony Romo Talks Off-Season Recovery With Ben & Skin

DALLAS, Texas (105.3 THE FAN) - Following his off season surgery Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo told 105.3 The Fan's Ben & Skin show that within the next month he will be back to one hundred percent.

"Hopefully in the next week or two is a viable time that it could happen," said Romo "but it could be another two or three weeks, but we will be smart in OTA's but at the same point we've got to get to work."

There is no doubt that following his recent surgery a big concern is if he will be able to play a full season for the Cowboys. Romo responded saying "There's no question in my mind that  not only will I make it though 16 games - I'll make it through another five years."

After coming off of an 8-8 season, Romo said he believes the Cowboys are going to be the best team they've been over the next few years. "I think the next 4 or 5 years are going to be our best team. I'd like to think that we're going to be much improved next year - but I also know that over the course of the next couple seasons we're going to be a much better football team than we've been in the last few years."

Talking about the NFL Draft, Romo indicated he had the inside scoop on where the Cowboys were heading saying "I might have had a little more information than some others about who we liked." But Tony voiced his confidence in the Cowboys picks, especially with the 1st round pick of Zack Martin saying "I think they did a great job, I think Zack is a great player and he's going to start for us for a long time."
