Ready for spring? Not sure what to put on your face when the days finally get longer? Kristie Castenada, a DFW local and Executive Director of Retail for AVEDA, shares the upcoming looks you'll want to embrace to feel pretty and fresh. From AVEDA picks to Guerlain bronzer, check out these beauty tips to put you ahead of the makeup ame this season.

Lips
Get ready to rock the red lip this spring. From Burberry to PRADA, runway lips ranged in all shades of rouge. Crimson, berries and black cherry lips are unexpected and quite welcome with the black and white palettes you'll also see debuting in fashion. Castenada recommends AVEDA's Nourish-Mint lipstick in Poppy or Cherrybud for plumping and natural lip color.

Eyes
Stella McCartney worked the bright blue and green shadows on the runway. Should you pair them with a red or neutral lip? That's entirely up to you. A bold and exaggerated color scheme is, again, going to look fabulous with a black and white, chic wardrobe. Think of your makeup as your accessory this season and don't be afraid to wear a bold eye with a red lip.

Cheeks
Nobody does bronze like Guerlain. Whether you get to pack your bags and head somewhere or exotic or end up at home, you can fake goddess glow with anything from this beautiful cosmetic collection. Opt for a bronze eye, cheek and a neutral glossy lip and you can fake the bake. Be sure to protect your skin with an SPF to help protect against the effects of skin damage. In addition, AVEDA carries a beautiful mineral and plant derived makeup collection to help add pretty spring color to your cheeks.

Nails
Many nail polish companies went pastel this upcoming season. Be sure to check out  Butter London's nail polish in shades of pistachio green, lemon yellow and lavender. These hues will look very feminine when paired with a power suit and a red lip. Go a little retro with a platinum hair color to balance it all with surprising elegance.

Hair
Jon Reyman for AVEDA created a disheveled and bedhead style for Charlotte Ronson's Spring 2012 runway collection. The best way to obtain this sort of texture is to make sure you have as little frizz as possible without losing the volume and intended messy style. AVEDA's Style Prep Smoother is a brilliant choice for smoothing your tresses before creating bedhead inspired waves. Use an iron or a waver and follow with some hairspray and a little backcombing, and then pin your hair loosly for an urban take on a romantic style. For the daring and the playful, temporary hair coloring and hair chalking are going to remain a trendy way to update your look without a commitment.

WhereTo Buy
You can buy the entire line of AVEDA cosmetics at any freestanding location throughout the United States. AVEDA has also entered select Nordstrom department stores November 2012, offering customers their favorite line in the convenience of one of the nation's favorite retailers. The entire Guerlain beauty collection can be purchased on the Internet here. For the Butter London nail polish line, check out Ulta freestanding store locations or their Internet website here.
