Some call them a hangover cure. Others just call them breakfast. Whatever you call them, these spicy vegetable drinks have become a brunch staple. Each has a slightly different recipe or maybe a secret ingredient, but they are definitely a favorite Sunday drink for numerous restaurants, bars and patrons alike. Here are some of the best bloody marys Fort Worth has to offer.

The Pour House's brunch is synonymous with its bloody mary bar and it's easy to see why. Patrons select their choice of vodka, then mix and adorn it to their liking. The build-it-yourself bar includes seven different bloody mary mixes including Finest Call and Zing Zang, different types of olives and of course celery. For those non-tomato loving friends, there are also brunch specials on mimosas, poinsettias, man-mosas and man-settias. Brunch is served 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

T & P Tavern is located in a renovated 1930's diner as part of the historic T & P Railway Station, and still serves as a stop on the Trinity Railway Express. Tacos to sandwiches make up the tavern's menu, and there is a different drink special every day. Sundays include an all-day happy hour of $2.75 patio drinks which cover mimosas, margaritas, sangria and bloody marys. These bloody marys include a couple dashes of olive juice and bacon to make them stand out. Of course, there is always a large selection of draft beers as well.

Scanning over Tillman's brunch menu, under "Wet Your Whistle," you will find their house bloody mary. Simply made with vodka, tomato juice, celery and olives, they must be hiding a secret ingredient. This is one of the tastiest vegetable concoctions to ever hit your lips. Along with enticing drinks, Tillman's offers a delectable brunch menu loaded with options perfect to pair with a bloody mary. They call it regional, which means their brunch is southern style with a southwestern flair.

If you think the name sounds pretty basic, you won't be surprised when walking through the door at Buffalo Bros. However, the food and drink will come as a shock. With specialty pizzas like broccoli and cheese, you'll quickly agree that this isn't your typical bar fare. Of course their bloody marys cannot go unmentioned. Choose from Tito's Vodka or Grey Goose, both of which will be combined with the restaurant's own bloody mary mix and all the essentials. Ask for it to be prepared according to your specific preference, whether that be extra salty, spicy or with a topper of pickle juice.

Mac's cuisine has what they call a Southwestern/Cajun influence. Brunch includes a large selection of eggs in various styles from eggs blackstone to huevos rancheros, as well as sandwiches if you prefer. It is only served on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., so there is typically a bit of a wait. Pass the time with a delicious bloody mary. They are made from scratch without any mix, and the key ingredient is fresh Sacramento Tomato Juice.
