DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The Dallas County Medical Examiner's office confirmed a 2-year-old girl died in a hot car on Friday night.

It happened at her home. The little girl had six siblings and her mother is pregnant.

The family went to Fair Park to celebrate Ramadan Friday night. Investigators said they were told by the girl's parents that the family took a nap after returning home. The parents thought all their children had exited the car.

The girl's father found in her child safety seat inside the family's Honda Pilot around 6 p.m. She was left in the car for at least an hour and a half.

She was taken to a hospital where she died.

No charges were filed as of Saturday and Dallas police continue to investigate.
