Washtenaw County sheriff clarifies comments about ICE enforcement

After ICE provided its statement to the media about Tuesday’s actions in Ypsilanti, Washtenaw County Sheriff Alysia M. Dyer said she also had a conversation with federal agency officials. While one of the two apprehension locations happened to be near a bus stop, she said they informed her that location was not intentional.
