The state of Michigan allows for certain misdemeanors and felonies to be cleared from an individual’s record after a certain period, according to the Clean Slate Act. Organizers of a criminal expungement fair in Ann Arbor on Saturday said clearing past mistakes from someone’s record can be lifechanging.
