Michigan and other states suing over SNAP data request

Twenty Democratic-led states, including Michigan, are suing the Trump administration over its efforts to obtain data from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, also known as SNAP. According to the lawsuit, the Department of Agriculture is improperly attempting to gather sensitive personal information.
