Memorial held for Flight 255
Friends and family members of those killed when Northwest Airlines Flight 255 crashed on August 16, 1987, held a memorial gathering Sunday evening in Romulus. The crash, which happened shortly after takeoff from Detroit Metro Airport, killed 154 people, with only a 4-year-old child surviving.
