100 Years of Courage event honors the story of Dr. Ossian Sweet

A Detroit doctor, Dr. Ossian Sweet, was remembered Sunday for starting the civil rights movement in the city. The event, called 100 Years of Courage, tells the story of what happened when Dr. Sweet and his wife Gladys, who were Black, moved into their new home in Detroit. Their home is now a registered Michigan historical site.
