Social media isn't making Blake O'Neill feel any better following the game, as many fans voiced their displeasure with the 22-year-old Australian.
"When we lined up to punt, they didn't have any returners," Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh said. "It was just a matter of catching it and punting it."
Michigan punter Blake O'Neill fumbled a snap with 10 seconds to play while the Wolverines led 23-21 and Jalen Watts-Jackson returned the ball 40 yards for the game-winning touchdown.
Michigan linebacker Joe Bolden was ejected from Saturday's game against Michigan State for targeting.
The GameDay crew was in Ann Arbor on Saturday for the big matchup between the Michigan Wolverines and the Michigan State Spartans.
"[They're] very, very overrated. I think Michigan State should be ranked, but not anywhere in the Top 20."
The vandalism came after a statue of Earvin "Magic" Johnson was vandalized with yellow paint earlier in the week.

As well as Michigan is already playing under new coach Jim Harbaugh, it would be easy for the Wolverines to get a little ahead of themselves.
