Woman Allegedly Kidnapped Outside Macomb County Party Store, Robbed

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Police are searching for two suspects who allegedly kidnapped a woman outside of a Macomb County party store, forced her to drive to another location and then robbed her.

The incident happened just after 9 p.m. Tuesday near 23 Mile Road and I-94 in Chesterfield Township.

The woman told police that the suspects, one of whom was armed with a gun, abducted her in the parking lot and forced her inside her vehicle. The pair then allegedly made the woman drive to East Detroit High School in Eastpointe, where they took her purse and cell phone, then fled on foot, police said.

The woman was not harmed.

Both suspects are described as black males in their 20s. The suspect who was armed was wearing a camouflage snowmobile suit; the other suspect was wearing a dark hoodie, blue jeans and beanie hat.
