TROY --  Viper Networks Inc. (Pink Sheets: VPER) Thursday announced a reseller agreement with Envirolite Corp. for its PowerDisc product that can extend the life of incandescent and halogen bulbs by up to ten years with normal use.

By simply attaching the quarter-size plastic disc product with a 3M adhesive to the base of any incandescent or halogen bulb from candelabra up to 300 watts (or 350 watt flood lights), the one-of-a-kind PowerDisc could extend the life of most incandescent and halogen light bulbs by a factor of 100 while saving 42 percent in energy cost at the same time.

With the beginning of governmental mandates for the replacement of inefficient light bulbs, many consumers are starting to replace their burned out bulbs with Compact Fluorescent Lights. But CFLs contain mercury and should not be disposed of in household trash.
