Tigers Claim Mike Belfiore Off Waivers From Baltimore Orioles
DETROIT- The Tigers today claimed the contract of lefthanded pitcher Mike Belfiore from the Baltimore Orioles and optioned his contract to Triple A Toledo.
Belfiore spent most of the 2013 season with Triple A Norfolk in the Orioles organization, posting a 2-1 record, 3.18 ERA (76.1IP/27ER), one save and 82 strikeouts in 37 appearances.
