Bill's Blog: The $15,000 Push

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was fined $15,000 for a push to the back of Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler...Huh? We've all seen the "vicious" hit umpteen times and although it wasn't exactly a tap, it was legal. Suh was called for unnecessary roughness on the play. Referee and P90X user Ed Hochuli called it "an unnecessary non-football act". I call it a load of rubbish! Suh is being singled out for being aggressive. Look, we don't exactly have too many opportunities to celebrate a player of Suh's ability and when someone (The NFL) tries to ruin it for us we get a little annoyed! Suh plans on appealing the fine and vows to continue playing an aggressive style, the likes of which, we haven't seen in some time. Keep doin' watcha do, Suh. And to the NFL head honchos...Lighten up, please.- Bill
