The Pistons did a mighty fine job of making fans forget what a pathetic basketball team they are.
The Pistons paraded in the old in Kid Rock and The Temptations. They paraded out the new in Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and singer Mike Posner. On a night of new and exciting and old and inviting, the only bad part of the evening is that NBA commissioner David Stern insisted the game go on.
