State Police Need Help To Identify Two People Found Dead In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Michigan State Police are asking the public for help in identifying two set of human remains at the Wayne County Medical Examiner's office.

Police say the body of a woman was found Sunda, July 20,  in an alley near Grand Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue in Detroit. She is described as a black female, age 25-35; around 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 120 lbs.  She had short hair and several tattoos on her arms that included stars, dice and the name "Maria."

The second unidentified body is that of a man who was discovered last Thursday, July 17, under the Waterman Bridge that runs over I-75 in southwest Detroit.  He described as a white male, standing approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall with long white hair and white facial hair.

The man had two tattoos on his right leg; one of a rose.
