Snyder May Not Be Looking For 4 More Years In Office
MACKINAC ISLAND (WWJ) - Michigan's governor may not be looking for four more years. At a Republican Conference in Mackinac over the weekend, Governor Rick Snyder reportedly told a news service he won't seek re-election in 2014 if he can accomplish his agenda by then.
Among other things, Snyder hopes to mandate schools of choice and create a data base of childrens' body mass indexes in his first term.
He also wants to lay the groundwork for a new bridge between Canada and Detroit.
