Sinkhole forms on Martinsville Road, could take weeks to repair
It could take several weeks to repair a sinkhole in Wayne County that resulted from the collapse of a culvert, the Sumpter Township Police Department said.
The sinkhole is on Martinsville Road, south of Dunn Road, and has been blocked off to traffic.
The Wayne County Road Commission will be working on repairs; police said, but that process is expected to take several weeks to complete.
