Schedule Of Detroit Buses Effected By The Heat?

DETROIT (WWJ) - Some riders are complaining that Detroit's buses have been running slower than usual Tuesday. Some believe the sweltering temperature played a role.

Roger Randolph took the 8-Mile bus across town and says service in general is not good.

"I've seen in the winter time some elderly people out here waiting for long periods of time in the cold. There are people who are sick ... they need to get a better system, much better system, I'm used to mass transit in the D.C. area... they need to fix ... it's not good, it's broken," said Randolph.

Another rider tells WWJ that most of the city buses he caught Tuesday were behind schedule.
