Sara's Blog: Bear Cub In Aisle 9

While the wild animals in Ohio made news in the last few days, there was another bear who was getting his own YouTube moment in a much less upsetting way.

We take you to Ketchikan, Alaska...where the men are men, the women are women and the bears like to do their own grocery shopping. Nobody quite knows how the little black bear got inside the store (they think he is an orphan) but at the :45 mark he marches across all the cabbages and carrots. Eventually the cops show up, but the person who finally catches the bear (bad pun alert) bare handed and escorts him outside is a customer. I guess if you live in Alaska seeing a bear cub in the produce aisle is like spotting Lindsay Lohan in a courtroom. After the show was over the store owners were forced to pitch thousands of dollars of fruits and vegetables.
