Rock Art Featured In 'Temporary Insanity Four'

DETROIT (WWJ) - If you like rock posters, poetry, and music, then "Temporary Insanity Four" may be for you.  It's being held Saturday featuring art from people who've done rock posters like Carl Lundgren and Gary Grimshaw.

WWJ Newsradio 950 talked with event spokesperson Susan Adams who said "Temporary Insanity" began in San Francisco with rock poster artist Gary Grimshaw, who is on hand for the Detroit event.

"Leni Sinclair is a rock photographer. She's also going to do a reading from her book that's  due to come out this late fall called "Detroit Rocks," said Adams.

"Gary Grimshaw is a world known rock poster artist.  He's (also) going to be there," she said.

The exhibition, which also features the work of local authors, is being held at the Bankle Building on Woodward south of Mack until 9 p.m. Saturday, June 25.
