The Grand Island (Neb.) Independent says Lions' No. 1 draft pick Ndamukong Suh won't be signing a contract anytime soon, but he won't hold out either.
The newspaper's Web site says the former Nebraska tackle doesn't want to be a hold-out but expects the negotiation process will be time-consuming.
Don't look for Ndamukong Suh to be signing soon with the Detroit Lions, but agent Eugene Parker says that's more a statement on the process than the particulars involving the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL draft.
