Red Wings Task Harder Now, But Not Mission Impossible

Traditionally, late March and early April haven't been very meaningful for the Red Wings.
Their seed in the Stanley Cup playoffs is essentially sealed. At worse, they are going to be division champs, and therefore no lower than a third seed in the Western Conference for the playoffs.
If there is a concern, it's about rust.
There have been years when the Red Wings, after coasting into the postseason, lacked intensity once the playoffs began.
