Food Recall:22,650 Jars Of American Spoon Foods
DETROIT (WWJ) There is a food recall involving about 22,650 jars of American Spoon Foods.
The brands involved in the recall include: Apple Chipotle Salsa, Maple BBQ Grilling Sauce and Pumpkin Chipotle Roasting Sauce which are being recalled because they may contain undeclared wheat flour, which could put certain consumers at risk for wheat or gluten sensitivities or allergies.
No illnesses have been reported.
The products from Petoskey-based American Spoon Foods were sold at its stores in Michigan and via mail order and at specialty food retailers in a number of other states.
