Police: Shovel, Gun And Argument Over Minibike Result In Arrest
SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - In northern Oakland County, a man is under arrest following an argument over a child riding a minibike.
The incident happened Sunday at a home on Tindall Road in Springfield Township.
Police say two families began fighting when a 46-year old man allegedly knocked a 58-year old man to the ground.
According to reports, the older man grabbed a shovel and went after the suspect, who then grabbed what appeared to be a handgun, which turned out to be a small BB gun.
No shots were fired.
The 46-year-old man was arrested.
