DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are on the hunt for a man who carjacked a young woman at gunpoint, early Wednesday morning.

It happened at around 4:40 a.m. as the woman was parking her car in a lot in the 24500 block of Grand River.

Police say the suspect, armed with a handgun, approached the 24-year-old victim and demanded her vehicle — a silver 2001 Chevy Impala.
