AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - Auburn Hills police say there was no confirmed shooter and no injuries after earlier reports of an active shooter at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills Saturday night. 

According to the Auburn Hills Police Department, officers were taking an unrelated theft report at the mall's food court around 6:22 p.m. Saturday when a group of juveniles began fighting. While officers were separating those involved in the fight, an officer deployed their Taser to subdue a combative person. At that time, an unknown person shouted, "Shots fired."

Great Lakes Crossing initiated an active shooting warning message for shoppers and mall employees. Law enforcement searched the entire mall and confirmed that there were no shots fired and that no one was injured.  

Police say two individuals who were involved in the fight were secured in handcuffs and fled the mall. The individuals have not been located. 

Police are asking if anyone witnessed the incident or has information on the related handcuffed individuals, please call the Auburn Hills Police Department.
