Police Continue To Search For Uncle Of Teen Shot, Killed Over Thanksgiving

DETROIT (WWJ) - A solemn beginning to the week for classmates of a Detroit teenager killed during a family argument.

As police continue to search for 16-year-old Freland Priedgan's uncle, James Graham, the suspect in the death of Priedgan, students at Henry Ford School for Creative Studies begin to process the loss.

According to police, 48-year-old Graham was involved in an argument with his 16-year-old nephew, during which he allegedly produced a weapon and fired a shot, striking the teen.

Graham remains at large and is to be considered armed and dangerous. He's described as a black male, 5'9″ tall and 198 pounds.

Graham then fled the scene in a powder blue Chevy pick-up truck with a partial Michigan license plate number of "1317."

The teen died Saturday from his injuries.

Priedgan was one of four people who lost their lives to violence over the holiday weekend.
