Police Ask For Public's Help Locating Missing 66-Year-Old Washtenaw County Man
YPSILANTI (WWJ) -- Police are searching for a missing 66-year-old man who wandered away from home sometime Friday night.
Damon Ford was last seen around 5:30 p.m. at his home in the 2300 block of Cedarcliff in Ypsilanti Township. According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office, a family member left the home and returned around 10:45 p.m. and noticed that one of the family vehicles and Ford were both missing.
Ford may be confused and not understand where he is and was likely driving a white Ford Flex with the license plate number DFX 8812.
Late Friday night, a driver in the West Bloomfield area called to report a vehicle driving erratically. Although the vehicle was not located when police arrived, the original description and plate number did match the description and plate number of the vehicle Ford is suspected of driving.
