Pistons' Opener Is Target Date For Tracy McGrady
Tracy McGrady has played 10 minutes this exhibition season.
And he's not worried.
While he's not expected to see any time the final four exhibitions, McGrady is positive he'll be ready for the opener in New Jersey, 12 days from now.
"I wanted to see how I was going to feel and I didn't like how my legs felt," McGrady said of the exhibition opener in Miami. "I felt like I needed to work on my explosion."
Playing against shooting guards and small forwards, explosion affects McGrady's ability to drive, play through contact and move laterally.
