Pig Ear Dog Treats Recalled
DETROIT (WWJ) - A big recall has been issued for pig ear dog chews sold in Michigan and seventeen other states.
Jones Natural Chews of Rockford, Illinois says the chews may be contaminated with salmonella. The bacteria can cause pets to feel lethargic and lead nausea, fever, vomiting and diarrhea.
About 2,705 boxes of the treats were sold by distributors and retailers in Michigan, as well as Connecticut, Iowa, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
