Pedestrian Killed In Pittsfield Twp. Accident
One person died Monday afternoon in an accident in Pittsfield Township. Police said a 54-year-old man who was crossing Washtenaw Avenue near Torrey was hit by a car traveling westbound.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was transported to a local hospital where he is being treated for his non-life threatening injuries.
Pittsfield Township police are investigating the crash.
