Pat Caputo: Only Answer To Suh's Popularity Decline Is To Play Better

When Forbes magazine released a list of America's Most Disliked Athletes this week, it was stunning Lions' defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was fourth behind only Michael Vick, Tiger Woods and Plaxico Burress.

According to the poll, conducted by Nielsen and E-Market Research, 51 percent dislike Suh.

In October, a similar poll conducted by Forbes and the same pollsters rated Suh as the Most Liked NFL player. He was appealing to 71 percent of those surveyed.

The fallout from Suh's on-field stomping incident Thanksgiving Day has been swift. He seemed to be on television commercials constantly before the incident, and not to be found recently. He did make a media tour — the CBS pregame show during the NFL playoffs, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, an interview with ESPN's Hannah Storm, the cover of the NFL's new magazine — but it didn't appear to move the popularity meter back in his favor.
