Pat Caputo- About The Lions, Promise One Thing, Results Another

There were several new faces Saturday as the Lions took the field for their first training camp practice.
Defensive linemen Corey Williams and Kyle Vanden Bosch were impressive — even though the Lions were not in full pads.
In a pattern continued from offseason minicamp and organized team activities, free agent wide receiver Nate Burleson caught an inordinate number of passes. It's evident offensive coordinator Scott Linehan has confidence in him. Burleson looks quite elusive in the open field after receiving the ball.
The HE'S BACK!!! Award went to cornerback Dré Bly, who was known more for throwing then-quarterback Joey Harrington under the bus than making the Pro Bowl during his first stint with the Lions. Seems like a zillion losses ago, doesn't it?
