NFL Highlights Walled Lake Western High School's 'Warriors For Warriors' Project

The back of one jersey reads "Mom." Another one says "Grandma." A large sign proclaiming "REAL MEN WEAR PINK" hangs on the fence that runs alongside the football field.
Walled Lake Western High School began its "Warriors for Warriors" initiative to promote breast cancer awareness back in 2011, and Sunday the school will be recognized nationally as a video about the program airs during NFL games across the country.
The NFL has partnered with the American Cancer Society and makes breast cancer awareness a major factor, with players wearing pink gloves, towels and shoes throughout the month of October.
