New Low: Team's Worst Start Ever
The Pistons are off to their worst start in franchise history. Through 23 games, they are 4-19. Their previous worst at this point of the season was 6-17, which happened twice -- in 1965-66 and 1980-81. During the team's worst season, a 16-66 campaign (19.5 percent) in 1979-80, it was 7-16 after 23 games. That was the season Dick Vitale was fired early on as coach and replaced by Richie Adubato.
