Nearly 12,000 Doses Of Moderna's COVID-19 Vaccine Spoiled En Route To Michigan

(CBS DETROIT) – Nearly 12,000 doses of Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine spoiled en route to Michigan.

State health officials say the spoilage was due to temperature control issues during delivery.

Health officials believe the vaccine shipments got too cold.

This comes as Michigan is experiencing a shortage in coronavirus vaccine doses.
