Coach Jim Schwartz said it a week ago. As long as rookie Ndamukong Suh didn't stay out of camp for an extended period of time, he'd probably come in and look like he'd been here all along.

That appeared to be the case on Wednesday. About 90 minutes after arriving at the Lions practice facility and after missing the first seven practices while hammering out a contract Suh was on the field working with the first-team defense.

"I am happy to be finally out here," he said after participating in his first practice. "I enjoyed it for the first day. It was a little rough; had to knock some of the rust off. I am excited to get back out here tomorrow."
