Metamora Man Killed In Accident

A 46-year old Metamora man died Tuesday morning when the pickup truck he was driving veered off Pratt Road and hit a tree.

The Lapeer County Sheriff's Department identified the driver as Chad Kadelsik.

Investigators say Kadelsik's truck veered off the road near Wynns Mill Road just before 11 a.m., went down an embankment and hit a tree. He was dead at the scene.

A statement from the Sheriff's Department says there was light rain at the time of the crash, but it's unclear if that caused the accident.
