Matt Dery's Daily Update 2-3-11
Very difficult task for the Michigan Basketball team tonight as John Beilein takes his kids to Columbus to face number 1 Ohio State. The Buckeyes are unbeaten at 22-0 and 9-0 in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes are 34-1 in their last 35 home games. Tip is at 7pm and can be heard on WWJ 950 AM.
Pistons got back to practice today with the New Jersey Nets in town tomorrow night. Detroit has now lost 4 straight. Rodney Stuckey remains doubtful for tomorrow because of his bad shoulder. Second round pick Terrico White who has yet to play in a game because of a broken foot is now 100 percent but needs to build up his conditioning before playing in games.
There are two Rookie of the Year awards that Ndamukong Suh has his sights set one. Tonight, Pepsi announces its Rookie of the Year with Suh and Sam Bradford 2 of the 5 finalists. Tomorrow the AP will announce their offensive and defensive rookie of the year award winners.
