Man Hit By Train Survives
ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - Ann Arbor Police say a man was hospitalized after he survived being struck by a cargo train early Friday morning.
The fire department had to free the man after he was trapped under the train's engine, when he was struck at around 4:30 a.m. on the overpass on North Main Street.
Ann Arbor Police Lt. Angela Abrams told WWJ Newsradio 950 the man suffered only non-life threatening injuries. He was being treated at Ann Arbor's University of Michigan Hospital.
It was not immediately clear what he was doing on the tracks.
